Langhe Arneis

"The little rascal" from a wonderful winemaker. Great fruit, bordering on off-dry, bright fresh acidity and a super pleasant soft silky texture. Fun and nerdy just the way I like it.

Really lovely wine with fresh orchard and citrus fruits, some exotic spice, an element of creaminess with coconut and lavender. Amazing acidity that keeps if fresh and light, despite the bit of weight behind it.

Drank it with home made scallops w/lemon sauce & prawn linguine. Really lemony, lovely drink.

Sweet, but grape juice-y in a pleasant way. Maybe better with cheese and bread than a meal.

Didn't really deliver for me, expected a little more

Flinty yet smooth with the weight to carry a multitude of dishes. Famously good with lobster and clams but tonight I'm drinking it with a starter of figs prosciutto and Gorgonzola and then a main veal escalope with sage. 😊

Great for sushi

Very sweet, but in a way similar to fresh fruit and not sugar. Slightly bubbly. Really enjoyed it.

Nice! Long lingering finish. ABV 12.5. Passports wine dinner, with mixed antipasti. Stainless steel throughout.
