Developing nicely with integrated alcohol and tannins.and excellent fruit forward elegant Pinot.
According to latest releases these traditional Pinots are being replaced by new wine making styles and I hope they haven’t thrown the baby out with the bath water!

Enjoyed this Reserve Pinot over two nights, deep garnet colour and aromatic nose, intense and interesting flavours on palate with well integrated tannins.

5 years in since my last tasting in 2020 and this has matured nicely with subtle nuanced flavours and more complex notes than earlier tasting

2013 at 12 years is developing nicely with fragrant berries and violets in the nose.
Lovely silky smooth texture on palate with well integrated tannins and alcohol.
A super nice SAF Pinot and will develop further.

Nice Reserve Pinot with some age from Sth Africa, took a while to open.
Good fruit/acidity balance and very food friendly.
