Thank you Halliday Wine Club for gifting us this bottle.

It’s a very chilled Shiraz. Super smooth and darn delectable. There’s hints of spice and berry fruit with licks of mint and aniseed. Very plump and juicy texture. Tobacco, leather, pepper, big acidity up the front heaps of fruit and at the back there’s smooth balanced tannins.

Very different from the straight up Shiraz. Younger vines apparently. Riper I feel, siky texture. Atm, this drinks better.

This is great. Pairs well with a cheese plate. Bold notes but subtle enough to have by itself
