Starting to turn brick in color. Orange oil and strongly herbal, almost pine nose. Bitter mint finish.

Dec 24th, 2017A little too much wood for me, but a crowd pleaser. Glad I only paid the close out price.

Jan 19th, 2014I have found the Pinot's of New Zealand very delightful and enjoyable. Tonight I am trying a Pinot from Martinborough. The color is a wonderful ruby red. The nose is very pronounced with red fruits, strawberry, raspberries, a bit of that funk and is making my mouth water in anticipation. On the palate are the strawberries, a minerality, a nice hint of soil, a touch of tannins, mint and a bit of acid. You can't go wrong with this nice effort.
