Glossy oak, balanced acid and fruit. Good weight but can’t shake the nail polish on front palate.

Beautifully dry cherry, twiggy nose and a light-to-medium bodied frame around a light, fresh red berry core. Very nice stuff.

Starting to turn brick in color. Orange oil and strongly herbal, almost pine nose. Bitter mint finish.

For a NZ PN this wine is heavier and more robust than what I have tasted earlier (which includes little from this region and more from Marlborough and Otago); dark purple; elegant perfumed nose with some barnyard and mushrooms; nice mouthfilling round taste but with a short finish. Unusual PN for me, but very interesting.

Medium garnet with aromas of raspberry jam and dried green herbs. In the mouth the wine tastes of raspberries, fresh herbs, and bitter green wood in the finish. Quite pretty.

Craggy Range is a family owned winery established in 1997 and is situated in the shadow of the spectacular Te Mata Peak in the area of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. Ruby with a touch of purple on the edges and subtle aromas of black and red berry fruits with floral spice. On the palate black plum and raspberry flavors with fine soft tannins on a crisp acidic frame. The finish shows toasty oak, full-body on a lingering ending. Very Nice!
