Shares a kinship with the Arnot-Roberts from the night before, but this is much rounder and about the apricot and roasted Meyer lemon.

Round and savory and lip smackingly delicious. Also with fennel braised chicken thighs.

Stone fruit, saline and the right amount of skin contact: it adds to the bouquet, instead of overpowering it. Lovely.

Shy nose... lovely med yellow gold in the glass,.. funky, cheesy goodness and plenty of weight. A bit aggressive, but man did it sing with first white truffle risotto of the season. Long, lingering finish... an intellectually intriguing wine that actually worked well with the food.
