It's Friday and I have to get my Cabernet fix. Supporting Napa this week.
Dark purple in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, cedar, leather, chocolates, vanilla, licorice, spices, smoke, mocha, cola, graphite, earth and black pepper.
Full bodied, elegant and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate, and fruity, with blueberries, cherries, plums, dried figs, tobacco, spices, cola, cedar, leather, earth, chocolates, mint and peppercorn.
Long finish with round, fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This great Napa Cabernet is very enjoyable now. Smooth and easy drinking with a great mouthfeel. Well balanced, complex and interesting.
Good right out of the bottle. I would have probably liked it better a year ago when the tannins were more noticeable.
This is so nice as a sipping wine, but also good with food. Delightful and delicious.

Solid entry level napa cab that doesn't drink like berry custard. good balance of power, fruit, and wood.

Beautiful color, silky legs, and almost opaque. Smoky medium-red berries, oak, light spice and a hint of vanilla. Interestingly tannic and not overpoweringly fruit-presenting like many Cali cabs. Spice comes through, as does a little vanilla. A fan of this one.
