Cottanera
Diciasettesalme Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese
Gorgeous, bright bouquet on the nose. Floral and sour cherry flavors pushed forward, leading into grainy tannic structure and intense mineral finish revealing youthful smoky oak presence and earthy sandalwood character. Very Côtes du Nuit like impressions with more vigorous tannin. The potential is outstanding and the wine is already showing brilliantly.

Jun 2nd, 2019Not exactly what you would expect to find in Etna wine, neither in the colour (a bit too deep) nor in the mouth. Some fruit that does not belong there. Where is the ‘terroir’?
