Gorgeous, bright bouquet on the nose. Floral and sour cherry flavors pushed forward, leading into grainy tannic structure and intense mineral finish revealing youthful smoky oak presence and earthy sandalwood character. Very Côtes du Nuit like impressions with more vigorous tannin. The potential is outstanding and the wine is already showing brilliantly.

Elegant Etna Rosso. Not as much leather and smoke as I’m used to, but could pair with nearly anything

Birthday / Memorial Day party. Very quiet and first, then blossomed into full blown funk and sour fruit. Barnyard city.

Dark toned Etna. Sour cherry and burnt ash. Juicy and brooding!

Not exactly what you would expect to find in Etna wine, neither in the colour (a bit too deep) nor in the mouth. Some fruit that does not belong there. Where is the ‘terroir’?

Elegant, yet young. Nose has some funky buttermilk, like a good Hermitage. Taste has sour cherry and volcanic ash.
