5 Years Old Sercial Madeira

Tasty. Musty, like the fallen leaves. dried fruit. Medium sweetness. Get hints of the bromine and chlorine. Definitely a bit vegetal but in a pleasant root vegetable (carrot) way. Drinks a bit sharp and acidic with the sweetness powering through. Then finishes tannic with lots of the oak flavor. Honestly pretty good on its own but not as good as the port that followed. 🙂
