A lot of green pepper on the nose and palate. Again, I think this one needs time open. Some age will do it some good as well. Nice wine though for the price.

Nose is very Napa. But also mineral and not a hint of green. Mouth is plush with nice ripeness (not too ripe for Ca but would be like an 2003, 2009 in Saumur) and good acidity. Needs to air out a bit. Palate better than nose out of the gates.

Peppery nose with some leather. I taste dark cherries and blackberries. This just gets better. Open. Let sit a couple of hours. Enjoy. 2011 was a tough year so they say. Not here. I truly think cab franc is my favorite grape. Sorry cab people. This is nice
