I JUST Love cathys wine, this from a supposed "bad" vintage. Bud Cathy is THE winemaker who can handle those vintages when Mother Nature is not on your side.

Lovely for its age. Not stored at optimal conditions but still a wonderful wine. Evolved, tertiary flavors of leather, dried fruits and hints of cassis. Extremely well made.

Loved this wine. Raspberries and flowers. Still pretty youthful. My favorite among a flight of 1988, 1990, and 1987 Chappellet.
