Alba Celilo Vineyard Gewürztraminer Pinot Gris

Fun white from the gorge

Just bottled, this 2014 is still really taut, but with lovely and exotic aromatics that got better and better as the bottle warmed. Bodes well for the wine, for sure!

Again, crisp and not repulsive.

Zippy and delicious, especially after warming a bit.

A really solid white blend. Very refreshing and not overly sweet.

Not usually a fan of Gewurz, but this was nice. Better on days 2-3.

Light, soft mouth feel with honey, pears, and apples. Nice simple white blend.

Great nose filled with floral and spice notes. On the palate it is most definitely Gewurztraminer (56%), lots of geranium. The Pinot Gris (44%) keeps it from being heavy and soapy and gives it a nice lift on the finish.
