Deep seductive purple; cloudy as a winter day. Bashful nose with black cherry and plum notes. Sheeting legs on the glass. All kinds of cherries and raisins on the tongue and that meaty merlot finish with just a hint of skin. Very clean and plesant. Drinkable. Likable. Ready to go with meats and pasta dishes. A hell of a bargain at the Aldi market!

It's ok. Seems like it would be better if it were chilled a little bit. Unfortunately, by definition, that's not what makes a good Merlot.

Our winemakers take great care to let the flavors from the vineyards shine through, enhancing the wine with some time in American oak barrels to give structure and balance. Copperwood Merlot has flavors of ripe blackberries, plums, and a touch of vanilla.

Flat up front, dry and bitter on the finish. Wouldn’t purchase again.

It’s alright. Nothing jumps out at me. It’s a bit of a dry, hard finish. Overall, not a bad bottle for the price, but not something I’d search for again.
