The Consilience Grenache is a Sanger family wine from the Santa Ynez Valley in beautiful Santa Barbara County. The alcohol number is a typical 14.5% abv.
There is a beautiful cherry nose here with lavender notes. A very floral palate also displays cherry with a leathery thing going on as well as coffee flourishes.

Juicy cherry, nice barrel notes on the nose, palate is overripe and pretty one dimensional at first. Will return tomorrow.

A little light. Aerating helps. Great for pizza.
