Enjoying this on Easter! A nice, fuller bodied Belgian ale. Love it. — 9 years ago
2011, purchased for $12.99, aroma is a hint of white pepper, eucalyptus, and cherry: earthy with mushroom. Taste is medium to light bodied, dark to bright cherry, and just yum. Pairing would be roasted meat with rosemary, duck with fruit sauce, or a pasta with puttanesca, or a Brie or stinky cheese with fruit, or charcuterie plate.. — 9 years ago
Nice ruby color. Aroma of stewed fruit, leather, mushrooms. Taste is smoky, leather, finished with the stewed fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium tannins that isn't too much. Balanced finish. I would pair it with aged hard cheese, chicken caprece, lighter pasta dish with oil not cream, would work well with fresh tomatoes. — 8 years ago
2013. Smooth dark fruit and licorice with enough tannins to balance. I'd love to pair it with a chicken cacciatore . — 9 years ago

Aroma of dark cherries. Smooth and velvety blend. Just a nice wine. Wish I could find it in more places! — 9 years ago

Bought it for $12.99. After decanting, aroma is still mellow but has notes of bittersweet chocolate, thyme, and rosemary. Also an unsweet vintage port. Taste is medium to full body. It's a bit hot. This is why it is a cheap wine: it's hard to nail the flavors that are going on. Good for a cheap wine. — 8 years ago
