Volumes of body. Lush and plummy. A leather thick finish. I gave Cono Sur another shot after a miss by one of their lackluster efforts. By contrast, this wine is a pleasure...and what I expect when one transplants French vines, throws out all the French restrictions of terrain, chooses the best from immense hectares then lets the scientists loose in the lab. It's said to be made in classic Burgundian fashion, including foot-trodden grapes--fun. :) Does feel crafted, not confected. Quite a decent Pinot Noir.
