Conn Creek
Sori Bricco Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
Pretty dark and tannic with heavy black fruits of black plums and blackberries, notes of salted caramel, toasted oak and tobacco. Warm finish with full & intense mouthfeel.

Mar 2nd, 2020Didn’t think I’d like a Cab from Diamond Mountain but this one is quite different. Really smooth and balanced as opposed to tannic and dark as I had been under the impression of. Dark cherries, plums and black currants with herbal hints of spices and wet earth. Color of deep purple and rich structure but so well rounded on the palate.

Jun 10th, 2019Decent Cab. Not as good as the other wine we opened earlier in the night. Better as it sits and opens up. This one really does need to breathe otherwise it tastes a little flat. Pepper and dark fruit. Decent wine.

May 18th, 2019Not opened enough in advance and not decanted-- resulted in being surprisingly feminine on first approach, subtle eucalyptis, lavender (or rose?),graphite, fruit lacking, but without any hard edges to be found. Opened up beautifully while maintaining its delicate nature, silk-sheet texture turned into an expensive plush-toy feel, with a full round mid-palate and persistent finish. Many thanks to Andy and Kata for the experience!
