Lovely example of a Chilean Carmenere. Deep and rich with the ripe blackberry, dark cherry and sweet plum flavors along with spicy toasty oak. An herbaceous note makes this makes this even more complex and delicious. Drink over the next three years.

Ripe, dark fruit; not a whole lot of character. Could age a while longer.

Gets better as it opens up. Full and smooth work some heat. So far husbands favorite Carmenere

Nice daily quaffer. Certain funkyness of shitake mushroom aromas along with blackberry compote. Malolactic conversion shows up on the palate right away, on a mix of chocolate covered cherries and secondary notes of green bell pepper. Hints of sesame seed and subtle expresso coffee flavors define its medium finish. Medium length. Medium body. Not bad. 84 pts.
