Not as much eucalyptus as the 2000, but the integration was excellent. Nice green earthy notes and long finish.

Quite tasty, but lots and lots out there that are as good or better for substantially less.

2001 was WS #4 wine of the year. That doesn't mean much these days but this is aging beautifully. Eucalyptus notes for days.

Waiting a long time on this one. Brought back from Chile in 2005. Not a huge cab fan but this is impressive. We’ll structured and complex. Tobacco, black pepper, dark cherry, caramel apple, spice and almost a tawny port finish and color.

This specific wine was #4 on the WS top 100 back in 2005. I was working in Chile at the time and had grown to absolutely love these wines. This wine did not disappoint 18 years later. Solid structure, some old world funk on the nose, the fruit was dark and brooding. An amazing wine that easily tops some of the big names out of Napa.
