Took a chance on this one. I'm glad I did. Bright and juicy with great tannins. Opened it and left it for a few minutes and it opened up lovely — I loved it even more. So juicy!!!

Clear medium Ruby-Garnet
Red fruit, red berries, blood orange, coffee, rich dark ripe tannin in the mid pallete profile from Monastrell, Tannins from Cab are lighter and more fine in the front, coffee in the finish. Medium finish.
Nicely balanced. Very nice, Id happily hold up to three years, allowing the layers to mature and unify, or drink now.

Mar 12th, 2017Tannic and phenolic on the nose, with some dusty, spicy cherry and some herbal notes. Rich and raspberry jammy on the palate, very fruity but with lovely acidity and some hints of fresh cut flower and wild herbs. Nice tannic bite on the end with restrained wood.
