Not your standard jammy Monastrell: deep wafting (mostly) dark fruited aromas, licorice & minerals, just oozing - peppery notes as well. Broad smooth on palate (med + weight) not much acidity, rugged tannins leading to modest finish. Great QPR @ Costco — 2 months ago
Loved it! — 3 months ago
TW Nice wine but nothing extraordinary, good value when it's on sale. — 8 days ago
Spanish wine with steak? YES! Big dark fruit, soft, jammy, super smooth and tasty — 22 days ago
Oakey and smooth! We really loved it! — 3 months ago
Well, here’s to still having power. I don’t want to jinx us but it seems like every time we have a hurricane we lose power! I’m stocked up and ready. I’m in central Florida, in between Gainesville and Orlando. Please pray for those who will get hit the hardest tonight! 🙏🏻 I’ve spent the past few days in our Emergency Operations Center and it’s not supposed to be good especially since the coast hasn’t cleaned up from Helene. — 4 months ago
Similar to a cab sauv — strong aroma but not too strong on the palette. Not oaky which is great! Dad likes this one a lot. — 21 days ago
Vintage 2020 | Modern marketing name and label. The Spanish can do magic with monastrell (= mourverdre). Unbelievable stubborn when popped and poured, beautiful smell. Given 24 hours aeration it develops lovely: smooth taste, glorious fruit. I selected it to pair Indonesian food, which is difficult for matching. It works. — 2 months ago
Nice smooth lighter red. Would buy again. — 4 months ago

Half price bottle night and a great selection from the sommelier. Not a full dark berry bouquet in the nose and struggling to place everything. Mouthfeel is soft but not velvety. Tannins are medium and finish is long. So far a great bottle! — 14 days ago
