It's crap like this that gives #Merlot a bad rap! Nothing exciting going on between aromas, palate and mind you it's been opened for over 2 hours. Have yet to have a domestic Merlot that blew my mind in the under $20 range. Sorry, it's not you its me.

Plum and forest floor on the nose, very fleshy on the palate with tart blackberry on the finish but rounds out smoothly. Not my favorite but quaffable!
