Like wow! Talk about a dirty complex wine. And I say that in the most endearing way possible. This stuff is amazingly delicious if you enjoy earthy wines. This stuff rocks especially at its price point. Cheers!

Super tannic, sagrantino is one of the most tannic ones in Italy... The 09 was just starting to open. Light vanilla from French oak. Fresh, dark, dense leathery. Strongly advise to Decant it for a couple hours before consumption.

Deep dark purple. Smells like dark chocolate and coffee. Gritty and tannic. Needs some air and some food.
