After breathing and opening up notes of smoke and spice present. On the palate, dark cherry, jammy berry, florals, anise, tannins still very present, but well balanced. long finish of cherry, anise, florals and hints of chocolate. As it opens and breathes more, Smokey oak begins to dominate with notes of caramel. Very velvety smooth finishing with chocolate.
