Smells worse than it tastes. I'm sure real Pinot lovers will enjoy this wine.

Not a Pinot Noir for the newbie. More Burgundy, less California with a bouquet of tarragon, cedar, mint, redwood, black cherries, blood orange peel, green olive, sea spray, and smoked game meats. Intense, complex and a real joy for a lover of earthy, terroir-driven Pinots with a character.

Sweet / tart red fruits (cherry/cranberry) with baking spices and tough of earth. Bit lean an austere right at the finish.

Earthy and slightly musty nose, much richer and fuller in taste. One of my favorite pinots.
