Had 6 of these. This was the last one. The first one was a stinker which led me to give away/trade most of them. This was great. Everything old Cab should be.

Really, yes it's that good. Pitch black in the glass, a blackout. Nose of petroleum, funkiness, Smuckers blackberry jam and peek of olive oil...nice. Mouth coating, slight tart-chewy tannins, bold and long. Despite the powerfulness the when maintains its structure highlighting, vanilla, cherry cola and oak. Finishes clean with pepper and smoked blueberries rounding out a playful wine.

Always reliable blend and even though young it's full, polished and ready to go.

Great with steak and sautéed greens but overwhelming and rich after the meal was over. Homogenous.

Brilliant. Very much undervalued. I had this once before but wow is it good. Smooth and polished textures - complex and dynamic flavors.

Feels like this is in an awkward place now. The well-integrated oak spiced fruits have faded a bit, and the tertiary notes are quite shy. Still quite enjoyable with greatly textured palate and soft round tannins.

Oak, blackberry, smoke, and cherry. Big, bold, and earthy.

An awesome blend that I’ve always enjoyed. Cool blue & black fruits, tobacco, licorice, dried garden herbs, and sweet Luxardo syrup.

Dark cherry, plum, and green pepper on the nose. Nice wine. Nice and balanced, would still hold this for a year+, still a bit on the young side but good with food.
