Estates Roasted Oak California Buttery Chardonnay

Pleasantly surprised by this bottle. Was skeptical at first but it did not disappoint. Very decent bottle for a really good price. Not too sweet and not too dry, nice, rich and smooth texture, perfect for a hot summer day or evening!

Butter, yes French, but I like the Trader Joe’s butter that I put on a baguette, not in my wine

Maybe too many flavors, Oak, Butter, Peach, Citrus, and Cream

Well balanced , maybe over-oaked, definitely drinkable, better with cheese

Label is decent. Not sure what ‘roasted oak ‘is. Only familiar with toasted oak. Color of gold. Smell like apples and butterscotch. Flavors are juice of apples and Bartlett pears. Considering this ain’t bad. But the resemblance to Martinelli’s non-sparkling apple juice is uncanny. I could do a glass and then I’m gonna want more minerality and herbal flavors from my white wine.

Superb oaky chard for the price!!

A nice chard. Buttery, a bit of fruit, not too much alcohol on the tongue. Not sour fruit. I like it.

I have liked everything from cocobon and this is no exception. Butter is balanced by the roasted garlic oak aging.
