There's 'buttery' Burgundy and then somewhere, off in the distance, there's this Meursault. It tastes like someone accidentally fat-washed an already fantastic white burgundy with a kilo of Lescure. Drank with some perfectly poached halibut it was sensational.

Dec 12th, 20152006 Vintage: Initially nose showed signs of age with butterscotch and golden raisin leading way to pears, apples and meyer lemon fruits, plus dandelion and sunflower florals. With an hour of air time (at the shoulder - not decanted) she opened up to show her true colors; thankfully, the alcohol also integrated. Ginger, wood spice (nutmeg, largely) plus more traditional lactic notes, supplemented the ripe tree fruits and florals revealed initially. Drink now, if you also have '06 in the cellar!
