There's 'buttery' Burgundy and then somewhere, off in the distance, there's this Meursault. It tastes like someone accidentally fat-washed an already fantastic white burgundy with a kilo of Lescure. Drank with some perfectly poached halibut it was sensational. — 9 years ago

Unctuous, jammy red blend, incredible mouthfeel, light tannins. Nose is all strawberry jam and brandied cherries, blackcurrants and a strawberry liquorice in the mouth and a short, clipped finish where the liquorice flavours are the last to fade. Pale, almost non existent on the nose, but a totally different story on the palate. Amidst sherry like, apricots, bay leaves, black pepper, cut with lemon, pineapple... I've no idea how to describe it. It's great. — 9 years ago
