When it hits the palate a Sherlock Holmes mystery commences with a complex initial taste that spawns even more mysterious side plots. Spoiler Alert, it was the lychee with the elderflower in a crime of passion.

A surprisingly bright and crisp (like lemons and pears) white from Paso Robles, better known for its reds. Terrific summer sips here!

Light, fruity, refreshing. I'd recommend this with an herbaceous fish dish as it would be nicely balanced against the herbs. Great on a hot summer night!
