Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend

This was the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages ‘Plan de Dieu’. Savory and blue-fruited.

Really nice , no added SO2 - nice sweet fruit , persimmon , Rhubarb pie, Christmas spice,background very well integrated

Need plenty of air. Dense. Dark fruits, damp earth, dark chocolate, salmiak. Lacks a bit of fruit for this level of abv.

It needs to breathe

Slightly disappointing. Strong plastic note on the nose, a little too smooth on palate. Thanksgiving bottle #2.

Excellent Cotes du Rhône with good depth. Owned by the makers of Domaine de Janasse so you can’t go wrong. Incredible value!

Red fruits, a little spicy, easy drinking.
