Very good. From Magnum. Likely would have been wine of the night. Damn chassagne. Starting to get the lanolin/petroleum funk from age. Awesome

Velvety mouthfeel and ripe red fruit tempered with age. Perfect wine for a winter's night snuggling up with someone special by (my old, sniff!) fireplace.

Petrol & lanolin on the nose from the age of this wine. Subdued white flowers (honeysuckle, orange blossom) in the background. Light honey and spice on palate. Great with Dungeness crab and caprese salad crostinis.

Why is there so little Vermentino in San Diego? This was more lovely and less spectacular, blending the bright floral fruit with a subtle edge of funkiness. I wish these were more in my regular rotation.

A pleasant, light and bone dry rose with high acid. Made me think of a Sauvignon Blanc with cranberry and apple notes - grassy, herbaceous, with a bit of hard candy. Kick of white pepper and citrus rind at the end.
