Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, herb and spicy notes, blend of 40% Grenache and 30% each Mourvèdre and Syrah, all aged in older barrels. Mar 12th, 2020Drank 12/9/19. Nice with porchetta spiced pork chops
Nose of red currants and underbrush. Similar palate. Well balanced, but slightly muted. Medium to firm tannins. Long finish. I was expecting a bit more from a CDP, but nice nonetheless.

Nov 17th, 2019Ruby in color with a wide light red rim.
Stinky nose of earth, wood, raspberries, black currants, cranberries, barnyard, vanilla, green vegetables, bell pepper, forest floor, black pepper, pencil lead, vinaigrette and dark coffee.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cherries, vanilla, green vegetables, bell pepper, cloves, pencil lead, peppercorn, leather, smoke and wet leaves.
Medium plus in finish with soft tannins and spices.
This is a nice Southern Rhône red blend. Well balanced and very earthy, but showing enough fruits with a nice, tangy finish, which I liked.
Drinking nicely now and will be better in a few years. Needs a lot of time to open up (4 hours).
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a plate of soft and hard cheeses.
A blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 30% Syrah.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
87 Points.
$36.

2012 is more up front than prior years, nice bottle for the price. Classic CDP.
