Consistently my favorite Bordeaux, and this might be their best vintage yet. From less than 1ha of vines in Pomerol. No machines used in the vineyard or during harvest. Pure, old school Merlot. A rare treat!

We finally managed to have a few bottles of Clos Saint Andre to taste. Very elegant and well done Merlot that shows great fruit and acidity, and has velvety and polished tannins. Decant 60 minutes before drinking or hold for 5 to 6 years. Really good wine, recommended.

Nice wine. A tad leaner than I was expecting. Bright red cherry with with prevalent tannin.
