Complex, expressive and finessed, showing both black and red berries, black tea leaves, damp earth, hints of rosemary and minerals. The finish is quite long and very balanced showing it’s beauty and elegance.

Nov 2nd, 2019Chopped cherry tree nose leads a seamless, light red fruit-driven core, very low acidity. Pomegranate, bing cherry. Burg meets old Barbaresco, not like any cab franc I’ve tasted.

Apr 7th, 2017Funky, green pepper, leafy, cool raspberry fruit, damp autumn leaves. Airy and almost weightless. Sappy tannins with relatively long finish. An unusual Cabernet Franc, but I can see why Burgundy lovers would make an exception for this producer. Would consider buying if prices were more reasonable.
