Clos Pons
Sisquella Costers del Segre Garnatxa Blanca
White blend from Spain. Super dry with some acid. Paired like a dream with a fruity ceviche. First enjoyable Albariño I have had.

Mar 20th, 2021Very smoky, lots of sulfur, unripe tropical fruit on the nose. Intense wine with some tropical but bitter fruit on the palate—some bitter melon, prickly pear. Acidity at med, med minus. Definitely interesting. Really cool and delicious.

Jan 16th, 2016This blend is really exceptional. Color is bright light golden yellow. Great infusion of aromas, very harmonious array, showing some spearmint, some marshmellow, and also lemongrass aromas. Immediate full body presence on the tongue, also with very herbaceous character, but also bright rainbow-like acidity of grapefruit, minty flavours, elderflower, leading to a long finish. This wine is very food worthy. 90 pts.
