La Guerrerie Touraine Côt Gamay

Gamay, from a mile away, got juicier and a bit more tart as it opened up, which I liked. [This is the Guerrerie]

Slightly eggy at first, blows off quickly. Tannic and tart. red apple.

Much more Malbec than Gamay, but the semi-carbonic style really shines through like a Village Beaujolais. [The Delectable description is wrong. No Cab... 67% Côt / 33% Gamay]

Effortlessly elegant, this wine has balance of fruit and game, structure and acidity, tannin and length. A slow punch.

Tart cherry juice. Gamay / Cot blend. Biscuits on day two.

This was not for me.

Herbaceous and in your face brine.

Pepper cherry. Never disappoint! Great acidity

Strange bottle

2014 and this is a Cot / Gamay blend. No Cab. Nice wine but not my style. Too juicy if that makes sense. Realize its young and it did improve greatly, adding depth and more earth after 48hrs open.
