Les Terrassettes Corbières

A very composed wine for this hot southern region. Ripe red berries vie with a stream full of minerally stones in the nose. Soft, concentrated, and with great balance. Very nice acids and minerality. Very good flexible. Nice job.

Lovely! Deep dark color but with a stewed cherry and wood nose but a racy taste with great tannin and acid balancing the earthy fruits. Woman winemaker, biodynamic. Excellent

Fruit, tannins, complexity, this wine has it all.

All kinds of southern France rich, intense goodness. Dark fruit, intensely flavored, full bodied, with a lingering finish of baked dark fruit--blackberry cobbler!Great value.

If Carignan (65%) is not to your liking I'd pass on this. But, should you be looking for a terrific example of what the Languedoc can produce you are on solid ground; match it up with a hearty meat dish. A sixteen hour slow cooked pork butt was perfect.

Animalic. Pepper. Thick mouthfeel. Tastes delicious with Biryani and barbecue ribs. Definitely supporting role and not the main star. Nice acid.
