A nice Pomerol, too expensive for its quality which is good, but not supporting its 50 $ price tag. It is a pleasant blend of 70% Merlot and 30% CF, deep red color, lots of black and red fruits, smoked barrel a touch of spices, full body, firm chewy tannins, long finish. my score 88, drink 2017-2023

Just a beautiful #pomerol with elegant black currant aromas, velvety tannins and a faint echo of spice. This 2014 is a great representation of the region taken up a notch above very good.

Killer Wine Night. Lineup of 17 wines. Tasted blind. Theme was Old World Killer “B” (the letter “B” has to be the first letter in one of the proper nouns in the wine e.g., region, varietal, type, winery name, etc.)
Wine 1. Lots of leather and iron backed up by black cherry and plum. Solid start.
