Pepper is the predominant note that lingers with this wine but this is a positive thing as it meshes well with the fruit. Cedar is also present and good acidity with low tannin. I'd like to have a more robust fruit to balance out the pepper. Too bad they did not add some additional fruit to counteract the pepper.

I’m disappointed. Very astringent and bitter. I’ve had better Malbecs for less cost. Upon searching online I have found many others who were as disappointed as I. There is very little flavor or depth to this one and I recommend not drinking it at all.

Very nice Malbec. Has all you would expect from an Argentinian Malbec. Nice nose, hints of Coco and ripe fruit. Balanced tannin and acid. Nice lingering finish.

This is an incredible Malbec... never heard of it but bought it because I always likes Argentinian wines and Malbec is one of my favorites. And I was pleasantly surprise by this superb wine. I’ll get more if I can still find it.

Fruit driven nose. Bit of straw, black, & rasp berry. Little scent of pie or cobbler maybe. Flavor is elegant. Bit of smoke mixed in with the fruit and herbal notes. Label mentions the mysterious and ubiquitous cassis of wine label jargon. This time, yeah I get that. I can’t say it’s a whole lot more distinctive than high end CA Boudreaux stuff, but it’s tart, juicy and avoids the grape kool aide flaw of many Arg Malbecs. Nice everyday red.
