Superbly smooth and quite red fruit forward with a dusty minerality and plenty of piney, vulcanic, olivey and cherryriffics, sweetish pyrazine and a tad of mentholy cow nearing that perfectly aged flavor, meant wholly to wow. Thoroughly enjoyable and very impressive, this being my first time tasting this Howell Mtn treat.

Slow Oxed 3 hours prior to consumption. Deep ruby color leads to a nose of cassis, blackberry and vanilla. Medium full body carries those flavors forward while adding a hint of bell pepper. Finishes with sweet tannin.
