Unbelievable after two hours of air. It is so much dark fruit with a bunch of herbs, lavender, thyme, some leather, but also floral notes. Just insanely well balanced with great nose and palate. Perfect with pasta dinner. Waaaaay better than the other two lower end Nebbiolo they sell at the tasting room. Don’t even bother with those. This is a whole other league.

Red cherry, cherry-cola, menthol, leather. Fresh mouthwatering acidity, bright red fruit, medium tannins. Perfectly cut through our rich carbonara

After a few hours open: Looks like Nebbiolo. Menthol on the nose and some peppery spice, pencil shavings a bit. Tart red fruit and serious umami meatiness like iberico ham. Tannins aren’t overpowering, but haven’t had a younger bottle so I guess its the age? I want more of this.

Vibrant acidity, strong vanilla spice, strawberries and cherries. Disappointing lack of structure for a Nebbiolo.
