This pét-nat drinks like a nice lemon lime flavored beer, or maybe some apricot. Unfiltered and hazy yellow gold hues. Some strong floral and herbaceous notes to compliment the citrus, but also some oily components and even green peanuts. Medium acidity and low body with a markedly pronounced minerality.

Claus Preisinger is a now-risen star of natural wine in Austria. Puszta Blanca is sourced from several certified biodynamic vineyards around Lake Neusiedlersee, close to the Hungarian border and the UNESCO world heritage site known as Puszta

Dry with notes of grapefruit initially and then more mandarin as it opened up. Some sweetness of the nose. Nice salinity and acidity.

Dry, easy to enjoy. Nose had a tinge of fresh leafy herbs and reminded me of washing dishes in a cold stainless steel sink. Punchy lime, a bit of salinity and green meadow grass on the palate. Gentle but long finish.

Tasty unfiltered gruner. Dry but not too dry. Slightly oaky on the finish.
