Macchiarossa Tintilia

Deep ruby, and a nose redolent with aromas of plum, blackberry, black cherry, leather, forest floor and stony minerality. Plush, velvety tannins give the wine great body though it could use a touch more acidity to be outstanding. Really enjoyable and a long finish — a great bargain for this under-appreciated grape.
