Dark ruby color. Nose of red berries, earth, old wood, orange zest and peppery spices. On the palate, salty fruit flavors, English candy, slightly mineral and with air, black pepper and fresher. Tasted bling, was quite a surprise! Excellent (91)

Made of Shiraz from 15 year old vines. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, 85% being new. Alcohol level of 13,5%

This has turned into a wonderful, sinewy, almost old-worldy wine that boasts gigondas-like spice! Yum.

Unfortunately over the hill. When opened it tasted quite acidic, fruit gone. After an hour it woke up and tasted a bit better. But the next day it was fading away, oh well.
