Full bodied red made from Merlot and Refosco. High alcohol with pronounced intensity on the nose and palate. Dominated by black fruit, such as black plum, prune, fig and black cherry. Cassis and blueberry with cedar, dried thyme, rosemary. Strong licorice on the nose with noticeable nutmeg, cinnamon. Med plus tannin. Might be to young to open but if you don’t taste, how would you know if this bottle could age? Could go for another 5-10 yrs.

Modern as hell, but tasty. Very refined with dark fruits and some heat. I would not have a clue where this came from if tasted blind. Tasted at the winery.

Croatian version of a super Tuscan blend. On the mark, luscious garnet color with a delightful full palette. Makes me miss Croatia!

Seriously good wine, had it with chocolate-strawberry dessert and it was just great. Somehow mild, soft and then again rich in taste and flavour.

Vinarija Clai (zapadna Istra). Alkohola 14,6%. Berba 2012. Kupaza Refosco, merlo i cabarne sauvignon. Preovladava refosco. Oseti se ukus dzema od malina. Fino vino. Nema previse tanina, fino izbalansirano. Ne oseti se toliki alkohol. Ide uz jela od crvenog mesa.
