Vigna Poggio Ronconi Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

2008 vintage. Dark ruby garnet in the glass. Nose and palate of black cherry and black tea. Firm velvety tannins and medium plus acidity. Dark brooding finish while the tongue recovers. In a good place now.

Transparent garnet in the glass. Black cherry and cedar on the nose. Firm velvety tannins rule the palate of black tea and black cherry. Dark anise finish.

This is good but just not what I expect from a Brunello. Better after sitting for a couple of hours.

2010 Brunello from my favorite producer. Black cherry, potpourri, black tea, roses. Classic wine from a great vintage.Still has lots of life.

Big brunello, bold fruit, complex on the finish. Still relatively young, be sure to decant

Dry but delicious
