Very fragrant, more earthy than I expected it to be. Crushed rose petal, mineral, spice and dark fruit. Nice but definitely atypical for Howell Mtn

Two years after the tasting on Howell Mountain, this wine blows us away. Much more mature, solid, well balanced. Very delicious.

Really good. Savory. Andrew says dark stone fruit, soft and smooth, gentle approach. Would drink much more.

Full Bodied Cab with hints of Black Cherry and Currants.
Pairs well with a nice Steak.

Lots of dark fruit and earthiness on the nose. This Howell Mountain Cabernet delivers blackberry, plum and minerality on the palate with a somewhat gritty mouthfeel. The tannins are a little harsh but there is a strong acidic backbone which probably indicates this wine will improve with age. Beautiful winery with great views and a lovely mountain cottage that serves as their tasting room.
