Old Vine Hand Harvested Pinot Noir

100% PN. Doesn't really taste like PN. Earthy and pleasant enough, though.

Clear, medium ruby in color with a garnet rim; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cherries, hibiscus, and wood smoke; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of raspberries, dried leaves, and cranberries with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good.

Really like this wine. When doing WSET SAT i could never get the ‘cigar box’ on the nose, but i got it with this one!! Best value i have found

There is something about Chilean PN that I truly appreciate. Their flavour layers over deliver on their price points Vs other new world PN versions 9/10 times.
They also tend to be more slanted towards Old World PN style characteristics (like this one). The front is short with subtle raspberry of NIBs, then violet, tannins & herbal warmth of white pepper in finish. Nose hint of Cigar box cedar & then cherry candy floss after standing 15 min.
For $13/btl at LCBO it’s quaffable bargain. Serve cooled @ 13C🍷
