Blackberries, red rope licorice, dried herbs, spices. Lighter weight than I expected and very pleased by that. I had been hearing very positive things about the 2016 Rosso’s and this bottle supports everything I’ve heard. Impressive and a sublime pairing with pasta.

Peppermint candy, small red berries, sage and balsamic aromas with a hint of tar. Very silky mid palate with mineral backbone and briary flavors of sour cherry, cinnamon, iron and licorice. Sleek and elegant wine that never gets too far away from bramble and spice. Outstanding QPR.

Beautiful violet floral note on the nose, also displays strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, fig and hint of raisins. Licorice and savory dried herbs can be found too. Juicy and vivid. Med plus finish, med to med plus finish. Delicious wine.
